Bilingual Internal Finance Coordinator (Thai / English)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Coordinator to manage financial reporting and consolidation across multiple sites and legal entities in Thailand. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who is comfortable working across different business units, currencies, and reporting standards, and who can bridge operational finance with group-level reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Collect and organise invoices, expenses and financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), Weekly Cash Flow, for multiple entities/sites
- Ensure consistency of reporting formats and chart of accounts across all business units
- Support group/regional reporting requirements and headquarters reporting deadlines
Multi-Entity & Multi-Site Accounting
- Coordinate accounting activities across different sites/branches, ensuring timely and accurate data submission
- Maintain separate books for each legal entity while ensuring alignment with group accounting policies
- Liaise with site-level accounting staff or outsourced bookkeepers to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Month-End / Year-End Close
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes across all entities
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure closing timelines are met across all sites
- Ensure the financial reports are auditable
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with Thai accounting standards (TFRS), tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax), and Revenue Department filing requirements
- Coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants across entities
- Ensure timely submission of statutory financial statements for Department of Business Development (DBD filings) for each entity
- Stay current with regulatory changes affecting multi-entity businesses in Thailand
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes across sites and entities
- Support in analyze budget vs. actual performance and provide insights to management
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain and improve accounting systems/ERP for multi-entity reporting (e.g., Xero, Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Standardize and streamline reporting processes across sites to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Support system integration or consolidation tool implementation, if applicable
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the finance point of contact between headquarters and site-level teams
- Supervise or mentor junior accounting staff, where applicable
- Coordinate with other departments (operations, procurement, HR) on financial matters affecting multiple sites
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CPA, or progress toward professional certification is a strong plus
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a role covering multiple entities and/or multiple sites
- Experience in group consolidation and intercompany accounting is essential
- Prior experience in a multinational company, holding company structure, or organization with branch/subsidiary operations preferred
- Experience working with both Thai statutory reporting and group/HQ reporting requirements (e.g., IFRS/US GAAP alongside TFRS) is highly valued
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and Thai tax regulations
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (XERO, ZOHO, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling); experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus
- Understanding of consolidation principles, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency accounting (if applicable)
Language & Communication
- Fluent in Thai (spoken and written)
- Business-level English (spoken and written) — required for coordinating with regional/international stakeholders
- Strong communication skills to coordinate across multiple sites and departments
